Are you wondering why my backgrounds are black and my font is cream?

It's more than just BRANDING!

When I first left University I worked for a Learning Disabilities Clinic.  We assessed and tutored children and adults with learning disabilities.

When I started working there, my boss noticed that I too, quite likely had at least one learning disability.

DYSLEXIA

I was so exhausted when I read, I got so nervous reading out loud and what I read, didn't make sense.  (My brain was capturing words that weren't in the sentence I was reading).

Now, I make adjustments that make it easier for me to read without so much effort:

If you look at my phone, my computer and any tech you'll notice I have it set to "dark mode" (black background) which is easier on my eyes and lettering that has less contrast.

It's that simple (and that intentional).  I want neurodiverse women to come to my page and RELAX ... bright white backgrounds and black lettering doesn't offer that.  My page does.

Side note:  I also score in the "severe" category for any of those online ADHD tests and while everyone and their dog seems to be ADHD these days, it DOES seem to fit.  lol
