Ever wonder why I have shoes as my logo?
In 2019 I walked past the (then) new SJP store. I was the girl who watched Sex In The City. The girl who loved the shoes and crazy outfits.
I WANTED to go in to just look at them ... I didn’t.
I shrank instead.
I had a chat with myself about how ridiculous it was that I wouldn’t feel worthy of walking into a store ... I turned around and went back in. I flipped one of the shoes over. $460. They were much less than I thought they would be.
if I wanted to, I could have easily paid for them, but when the salesperson came to ask me if I would like to try a pair on??
I shrank instead.
Dammit. I did it again.Â
I quickly left the store and went to grab a cup of coffee. There was ONE chair available and it was a bar stool perched where I faced the store.
It was divine intervention.
It was in that very moment where I had another chat with myself and I decided I was no longer available for this nonsense running around in my brain.
THIS picture was taken during that conversation with myself.
I knew that it was the moment that would change me forever.
And it did.
I finished my coffee, took a breath and went into the store.Â
The salespeople gave me a ton of shoes to try on, they told me that the shoes were made in Italy and made with the finest Italian leather. “The leather just FEELS different” they said, and it did.
But it was more than that. It was ME who felt different.
As I tried them on, I quite literally stepped into the next version of me. I didn’t even buy the shoes that day, but it didn’t matter. It was a brand new me.
My logo? It’s shoes (arranged into a yin yang symbol actually - symbol of Feng Shui and I love to use it to help my clients step into THEIR next level).
My vibe? It’s shoes ... with a side of lululemon and a T-shirt.
Sometimes the things that hold us back are so deep in our subconscious that we don’t know they are there. When they pop up and we shrink down ... consider it a gift and shift. THIS is when the magic happens. 💫
